June 2015 Overview

A very eventful month and when I say eventful, I meant that in a literal sense. I said May was quiet? Well June was the opposite of May. 1. Eduardo and I got married. Well no not really, but it's the closest I'll ever get to an actual spiritual and meaningful wedding ceremony so for the lack of a better catch-all generic term, I'll just say that we got married. Yay! The more appropriate term actually is that we got sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. Then we got sealed as a family. It felt great and it was wonderful occasion. I wish there could have been more people present, whom I cared about and wanted to share that moment with, but I know that's not possible. But for the bare minimum audience that we had, it was still worth it. 2. Raine turned 8 and was baptized by Eduardo. Then Eduardo and I did a special number and sang during the baptism. Talk about a riot! I sang the baritone part in a higher pitch and just worked around him so he can keep singing...

May 2015 Overview

May was quiet. Well, quieter, in my standards. Come to think of it, I think it was literally quiet.  1. Half of the staff went to the Opera America conference in DC and it was REALLY quiet in the office. I got to work on the spring campaign in peace and without interruption. I nerdily  and happily created criterias and segments and pulled lists. I loved it! It's the kind of shit I really enjoy doing. No really. Zero sarcasm here. 2. A full entire month of no events!!! Holy crap, what did I do to deserve that??! 3. I meant no work event, but I did have a birthday and coincidentally around the same time discovered I had more grey hair sprouting, in addition to the two that I originally knew about. 4. I led the South Park PAC AGM which meant I officially survived a full year of PAC leadership. In the same meeting I also got re-elected as Chair for the second year in a row. Yay me. It's cool.
