Ever heard of the saying be careful what you wish for? Well be careful for the things you pray for too! Let me explain... Raine started piano lessons at the end of May this year. He maybe got a month's worth of lessons then his teacher went away on holiday and he too took a break from piano over the summer. After school started again in the fall so over all he's only been back to it for about a month. He shows great potential, strong grasp for theory, good rhythm, good ear... But just because he progresses pretty well and is enjoying himself doesn't mean I should forget that he's a) only six and b) it's only his second month playing the piano.  He's already showing signs of being a perfectionist. When he doesn't get something the first couple of tries he starts to get frustrated about why he couldn't do things correctly right away. When these things happen, of course he would come to me.
